Raising disease awareness is a vital part of improving the lives of people with the disease. For rare diseases, however, it’s especially critical to raise awareness to counter the limitations on research, funding and knowledge.
The &Robin approach
For the annual Rare Disease Awareness Day, &Robin works with Novo Nordisk to capture and share the stories of people living with a variety of rare diseases, including haemophilia and sickle cell disease. Our priority, through dynamic, targeted content across a wide range of platforms, is to look to the future of rare disease care, balancing the reality of life with a rare disease with an optimistic view on the what the future can bring, as told by real people living with a rare disease.
Outcome
The annual campaign helps to raise wider awareness but, critically, resonates within the rare disease community, and helps demonstrate Novo Nordisk’s role as a committed partner to people living with a rare disease.
